1. Controller

UNIT01 d.o.o. Beograd (“UNIT01”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of personal data processed through this website. Registered seat: Vodovodska 75, 11030 Belgrade, Serbia. Company identification: PIB 107955125, registration number 20904453. The company is registered in the Business Entities Register at the Serbian Business Registers Agency. Director: Rade Joksimović.

2. Scope

This notice applies to visitors of unit01.dev and to people who send an enquiry through the contact form or by email. It does not apply to software we deliver under a client agreement, to a client’s own systems, or to our other products. Those are governed by the written contract and by the policies of the organisation that operates the system.

Website use is also subject to the website terms of use.

3. What this website does not do

unit01.dev is an informational site. It is not a product login, a marketing funnel with measurement, or an advertising surface.

• We do not set cookies, including session, analytics, or advertising cookies.
• We do not load analytics products (including Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar).
• We do not run advertising, retargeting, profiling, or cross-site tracking.
• We do not use pixels, tags, or social plugins that identify visitors.
• We do not sell personal data. We do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
• We do not build marketing lists from the contact form, and we do not send newsletters from this site.

Visiting these pages does not require a cookie banner, because this website does not use cookies.

4. Personal data we process

Information you send us

If you use the contact form, we process the fields you complete: name, work email, company, interest, role, budget, and the message. If you email us directly, we process the address you write from and whatever you include in the correspondence.

Please do not send special-category data, credentials, or material that is confidential to a third party in a first message. There is no confidentiality obligation until both parties agree in writing. See the website terms.

Information created by operating the site

Our hosting provider records ordinary technical logs needed to serve the site and to detect abuse: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer if the browser sends one, and user-agent. We do not use these logs to identify you as a person or to measure marketing performance.

The contact form includes a hidden field used only to reject automated submissions. Values entered there are not used to contact anyone and are not stored as an enquiry.

5. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data only for the purposes below. Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, the legal basis is stated. Where Serbian law on personal data protection applies, the equivalent grounds apply.

• Enquiries. To read, assess, and reply to a message you send, including a first written plan where we can offer one. Legal basis: steps at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in operating a business contact channel.
• Operation and security of the website. To serve pages, keep the site available, and prevent spam, fraud, or other abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Legal obligation. To retain or disclose information where a competent authority or applicable law requires it.

Submitting the form is voluntary. If you do not provide a working email, we cannot reply.

6. Recipients

Access inside UNIT01 is limited to people who need the message in order to reply. We do not sell, rent, or trade enquiry data.

We use processors solely to operate this website and to deliver messages:

• Hosting. The infrastructure provider that serves unit01.dev (this repository is configured for Vercel and/or Netlify). They process technical logs and the encrypted transport of pages and form posts.
• Email delivery. Resend, Inc. processes contact-form contents solely to send the message to hello@unit01.dev.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to professional advisers bound to confidentiality (for example counsel), where that is necessary to handle an enquiry or a dispute.

7. International transfers

UNIT01 is established in the Republic of Serbia. Hosting and email processors may process data in the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, or other countries where they operate.

Where a transfer of personal data from the EEA or UK to a country without an adequacy decision is necessary, it is carried out under the supplier’s standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism they maintain. A copy of the relevant safeguards can be requested at hello@unit01.dev.

8. Retention

• Contact-form and email enquiries: up to 12 months from the last correspondence, unless a discussion about work is opened, in which case we keep the record for the life of that discussion and as required for ordinary business records and legal claims.
• Hosting logs: a short operational period set by the hosting provider, typically in the order of days or a few weeks, for security and diagnostics.

You may ask us to delete an enquiry sooner, subject to any obligation we have to keep a record.

9. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted in transit to our processors and then to hello@unit01.dev. Access to enquiry mail is limited to those who need to respond. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we take measures appropriate to a public informational site and a low volume of business enquiries.

10. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate data;
• erase data;
• restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• receive data you provided, in a structured, commonly used format (data portability);
• withdraw consent, where processing was based on consent — submitting a form is not treated as a marketing-consent capture.

To exercise these rights, write to hello@unit01.dev from the address we should match to the record. We will respond within 30 days, or any shorter period required by applicable law, unless the request is complex, in which case we will say so.

We may need to verify identity before acting. We will not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

11. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle personal data, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For UNIT01 as a Serbian controller, that is the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs). If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to the authority in your place of residence or work.

12. Children

This website is directed at organisations considering software work. It is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, write to hello@unit01.dev and we will delete it.

13. Changes

We may update this notice when the website, our processors, or the law changes. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on this page.
